Your privacy is the product.

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we never share. Written in plain English. Kept short. Updated when it changes.

Only what's needed to keep your vault working.

We collect the basics to create your account, secure your vault, and keep everything in sync across your devices. This includes your email address, a hashed password if you set one, and the content you choose to store. We also collect minimal technical information, like device type and app version, to keep Little Vault reliable and secure.

A small handful of trusted services, in the EU.

Your data is hosted in the European Union and stays there. We use a small number of carefully selected services to run Little Vault: a database for your encrypted metadata, object storage for your media, and a transactional email service for important messages. They're bound by strict privacy and data protection commitments.

No ads. No training models on your memories. No selling.

We don't show ads. We don't sell your data. We don't use your content to train any AI model. Not ours, not anyone else's. Your memories are yours, and they stay that way. Full stop.

Only the people you invite. Only what you've shared.

Every read and write is checked on the server against the role you've given each person: owner, contributor, viewer, or future recipient. Locked memories stay locked for everyone, including invitees, until the unlock rule is met.

Take everything with you, any time.

From Settings you can request a full export of every vault you own, in the original quality. You can also request account deletion: we soft-delete first so you can recover within 30 days, then we remove the metadata and the underlying media for good.

Made for adults, for the people they love.

Little Vault is for adults creating vaults for themselves and the people they love, including their children. The app is not designed to be used by children directly. Future-recipient access (when a child eventually opens a vault you've made for them) is opt-in and controlled by the vault owner.
